Disney Dinner

Yesterday was good.

I loved every second of it!

Here's what it consisted:
  • Visiting Teaching
  • Choir Practice
  • Giving a talk on Honesty in Sacrament Meeting - I got through without crying!
  • Bishop standing up and saying extremely nice things about me :)... That's when I started crying.
  • Practicing Sister and I's rendition of He Sent His Son/I Stand All Amazed
  • Going to the Home Ward.
  • Watching Evan, Mom, and Dad give their talks on Family, and The Priesthood.
  • Singing in their Sacrament Meeting (erin and i had to stop singing at one point. neither of us could hold back the tears... I am sooooo my mothers daughter!)
  • Going to Mission Prep
  • Disney Dinner - Let me Explain.
My family LOVES the food at Disneyland. There are always a few things that we MUST purchase - food wise- whenever we go. So when I came up to my front door last night to come home. There was a sign on the door that read:

Here, you leave today, and enter into a world of Yesterday, Tomorrow, and Fantasy!

First thoughts:
WTF is going on here.
This is pretty funny.
WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!
HAHAHA. THIS IS sooo FUNNy!!

I walked in and my family was all sitting around our dining table ready to eat dinner with me!
We had Pesto Ravioli, Salad, and Sourdough bread from
here,

and here,

Then for Dessert:

OOooooh yeah!

I loved it so much!

To eternity and BEYOND!

I do love my fam.

They're great.

I especially love ERIN... when she works an extra 1/2 hour for me, so I can go home early from working a 12 hour day.

or EVAN... when he does his extremely high girl scream (ask him to do it sometime. It's hilarious!)

or MAMA... when she sends me texts of things to look forward to for when I get off work.
today's text: I bought that DRAGON movie :)
me: cool mom!! You mean, How to train your Dragon?
mom: yep, that one.
me: You're the BEST MOM IN THE WORLD!!

(if you haven't seen it yet, I suggest you do.)

and then there's DAD.
Good ol' dad. He calls my cell phone and leaves meggages that go like this:
Hey Hun, It's KURT!.....your dad. heh..
Just wanted to tell you to have a great day! Love you!!!

haha. Thanks daddio (: Love you too.

The puppies are cute too.. Maya aka the T-REX
and then Rudy.. the PRINCESS. I will be sitting in my room doing my homework, and either one of them will come to my door and push it open with their snouts to come say hello. It is adorable.

I love my family. That is all.

there were never such devoted sisters

Awe.. So cuuuute (:

Pro's of having Erin Marie Spencer as a seester:

  1. she has cute shoes/clothes in which i usually claim as my own.. (sorry erin. it's habitual)
  2. she listen's to GOOD music: Eternal Flame by the Bangles, lots of Motown, Michael Jackson, etc.
  3. she'll draw free tats on my wrists during sacrament meeting of ewok's and r2d2's.. and then call them Shawty's!
  4. she is thoughful, and buys me things (except for gap jeans when they're 50% off and I am unable to get there because of work.)
  5. she's fashionable. I call her my manager over fashion. she tells me when i dress like poo.
  6. we play jedi mind tricks on eachother. it is seriously, crazy!

Only uno con:

  1. She won't watch Star Wars episodes wif me.. or play Star Wars lego wif me.
It's okay though, She's still the best sister in the whole wide world (:

Ice Cream, lollipops, treacle tarts....

...and All Free TODAY!

remember this creeper of a child catcher?
I think my dad should play him for halloween.

here's why:

Erin bought herself some hair extensions.. and left them on the dining room table. My dad picked one up and was like, what the crap is this for?

I see him go into the bathroom, and when he comes out, he had the extensions clipped to the back of his head. He looked like he had a skullet. I'm sure with a top-hat, and a gargantuan nose, he would've resembled this child catcher to a T!

(:

Love you pops

my Dadio just now:

Dad: "Hey Kelly.. could you get me a card together that says, 'Congratulations! You're Expecting!'?"...

Mom: "Kurt. You don't get a card for someone when there expecting. You get a card for someone after they've had the baby, dear heart."

Oh man. My family is Awesome.

These conversations happen daily.

bahahaha

I'm so glad when Daddy comes home

My Dad.

What a cool person he is.

coolness reasons:

  • He is always serving. Even complete strangers.

  • He is trilingual. English, Spanish, and German. (We Spencer's have Roseta Stone to thank. Now we are graced with German phrases throughout our household.)

  • He plays the guitar.
  • He shaved off his mustache this morning. I think he did it for my mum. She hated it. It's a good thing I snapped that picture, yesturday!

  • He makes the best pancakes in. the. WORLD.

  • He likes to inturrupt our bachelorette girls nights to say something to this effect, "Hey, Did you guys know that India is the seventh-largest country by geographical area?" What important information we all needed to know. Thanks Dad!

  • He's always trying to make us laugh.

When I was younger, I remember going through the McDonalds Drive-Thru. My dad was ordering for Erin, and I. I remember him asking for 2 SAD MEALS. hehehe. I thought he was the coolest Dad in the whole world. And I still think so.

Dear Future Husband,

Please be cool. Cool, like my Dad. Thanks.

Anna

I love you, dad!

Happy Father's Day!!

Madre..

I give a talk this week in Sacrament Meeting.

My talk is on Mothers..
(How ironic that sunday is Mother's Day. Ha!)

I love my mumsie.

She is beautiful,
smart,
kind,
patient,
talented,
best cook ever,
best produce picker ever,
etc.

and I love her so, so much.

You'd love her too.
If you're ever hungry [or not hungry],
she'll cook you up anything.

or she would do your laundry,
or scrape your car windows,
or clean your bedroom,
or your bathroom,
or bring your post into work so you don't have to wait a minute longer.

really, you name it.

She's just the best.

I LOVE YOU, MOM!!

awesome

As I was going through some old pictures today, I came across this little beauty..

Taken 1998

There are soo many good thing about this picture.

  1. Erin thinks she is soo cool. Cool enough to pull back one side of her hair. hilarious.
  2. The giant spaces in between each of my teeth.
  3. Evan's OP shirt. Those were sooo freaking cool back in the day.
  4. My overalls.
  5. My headband.
  6. My bangs poking out from my headband.
  7. That we all still look exactly. the. same.

So, so great.

I hope you enjoy as much as I did [:

meet my dog[s]

The black one is Maya, and

Rudy is the cute one

(i try not to play favorites)

Yesterday, while switching channels between commercial breaks of the Olymics, we came across a tv show on Alaskan dog sled racing..

Rudy's ears perked up and she watched intently as the dogs raced along the icy banks of Alaska.

Once we switched back to the olymics, she didn't switch back to sleeping on moms bed.

She instead sat and watched the olymics with us for a good 15 minutes. So cute!
love,
anna mae
